Edocew is a web development studio, we rely on web designers or pre-built website designs. Why does this benefit you? Let us explain. When you decide to purchase a home you can decide to accomplish it in one of two ways:
- Hire an architect and build a custom home that is one of a kind.
- Buy a set of home plans that are already designed from a “design” firm or from a building contractor who’s already purchased them
Why would you want to work with pre-existing website design plans? First, it’s less expensive. A good web designer can charge from $1,500 to hundreds of thousands of dollars for a bespoke design. Pre-built website designs can usually be purchased for less than $100. Second, is time to value. Working with a designer takes time, and the longer it takes, the longer you’re delaying your time to value. This is a Daycare center when we took their current site and created a new site with a more modern look.
MyPRs
This application is a mobile friendly website that tracks fitness personal records. A user can create an account and log into the application to record fitness goals. myPRs has three categories of movements: Lifts, Cardio and Skills. The application is already loaded with predefined movements in each category and the user can create new movements to add to their list. Within each specific movement, the user can add new 1 rep max logs, edit the log or delete it. I was inspired to create this project because I needed a way to track my own fitness personal records with a specific, easy to use application. There are many other beautiful fitness application on the market but they tend to get very busy with too many options and I just wanted a simple quick way to look at my person fitness records.
My focus on this project was to build the frontend in React. Node.js is being used for the backend and MongoDB for the database. I used Balsamiq to wireframe my design and lucid charts to map out my data. Postman was used to test all of my endpoints throughout development.

Retail Backbone
Retail Backbone is an established software company that needed a new website with modern code, a fresh look and new features. The features we added were a fully responsive layout, team section with avatars, job postings, product videos and much more.
We worked together to pick a design theme that would resonate with their clientele and attract new clients.

Shirley Sei Bella
Shirley Sei Bella is a family-owned salon that had been open for years, but they never had a website. We met with the client and discussed their needs and website objectives. We walked through the whole process and picked a design template that would suit their brand. The client utilized a variety of our add-on services like domain purchase, domain registration, website hosting and Google Analytics.
This website is fully responsive, so it looks great across all devises. The client had us pick some stock photos, but the majority of photos were taken at the salon for the website.

This is a website for a fictitious salon. We were utilizing one of our many website design templates to showcase possible website options. Diaper Buddy
Diaper Buddy is a website created for mobile devices to help parents track their diaper inventory. Users can add multiple children and add and remove diaper inventory by size. Features we added are graphs, card swiping, and image uploads. We also connected with an email client for user sign up and forgot/reset password features. The application will send an alert email to users when their diaper inventory is too low as a reminder to purchase more.

ABC Daycare
ABC Daycare is a fictitious name with the web content from an established daycare center. We found a company that needed a new website with modern design and responsive layout. This project was used to hone in on our developing process for future clients.
This new site design is using brighter colors, high quality images and user friendly content flow. We added some animations and parallax image scrolling to help make the site stand out.
